In March, HBO announced that there will be no advance press copies for Game of Thrones Season 6 this time.

Created by D. B. Weiss and David Benioff and first premiered on April 17, 2011 on HBO in the US, the Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama TV series filmed in a Belfast studio and several other location in Spain, Scotland, Iceland, Croatia, Morocco, Malta, Northern Ireland, and the United States.

The series has been adapted from “A Song of Ice and Fire” – George R. R. Martin’s series of fantasy novels. The first novel of this series is titled “A Game of Thrones.”

The sixth season of the series will be premiered on April 24, 2016.

Leaked Episodes of Game of Thrones Season 6 Torrents Will not be Available This Year

Game of Thrones has set new records in terms of viewers on HBO and has created a huge fan base internationally. Even critics have praised the series for its story, acting, scope, complex characters, and production values. Game of Thrones is also the most pirated TV series on the internet, surpassing The Walking Dead by 3 times.

The series has won 26 Emmy Awards, including the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series in 2015, a Peabody Award, three Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, and three Golden Globe Award nominations. Peter Dinklage won two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series as well as a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Tyrion Lannister.

In 2015, media leak of Game of Thrones Season 5 resulted in about 50% torrent downloads. Four out of 10 episodes of GoT Season 5 were leaked prematurely and were available as torrent downloads. So this year, HBO decided not to distribute press screeners for Game of Thrones Season 6 before telecast of the first episode on April 24.

You can watch Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere on HBO on April 24, 2016 at 9:00 pm ET.
