With a gradual dip in mercury, winter is now slowly setting in Dehradun. On Monday, the minimum temperature in Dehradun was 11.7 degree Celsius, and trend is likely to continue in coming days, according to the weather department.
With the dip in the temperature, the residents of Dehradun have started to put on woollens now. They say that the climate is turning cold during the early morning and after the dusk falls. The sun is also slowly losing its heat, bringing in the feel of the winter during the daytime too.
According to Daily Pioneer, the minimum temperature, at Mukteshwar, was 7.9 degree Celsius on Monday, and the maximum was at 17.2 degree Celsius.
In New Tehri, the minimum was 9 and the maximum was 20.6 degree Celsius.
In Pantnagar, the maximum temperature was 31 degree Celsius, one notch above the normal, and the minimum settled at 9.8 degree Celsius-five notches below the normal.
