Met Éireann Issues Weather Warning for Galway, Mayo, Clare and Kerry Counties in Ireland

Met Éireann, Ireland’s National Meteorological Service, has issued a weather warning for four counties: Galway, Mayo, Clare and Kerry. According to Met Éireann, these counties can experience heavy rainfall.

The met service said these counties could experience rainfall of 30 to 50 mm.

On its website Met Éireann stated:

Rainfall Warning for Galway, Mayo, Clare and Kerry

Thundery rain leading to possible accumulations of 30 to 50mm in these areas.

The national forecast predicted that the “heavy rain will then move up across the country overnight, with the ongoing risk of thunder as well as localised flooding”.

In rest of Ireland, the conditions are expected to remain dry and bright.
