MTNL Offers 2GB Data per Day for Rs 319

MTNL has introduced a new Rs 319 plan offering 2GB data per day and call benefits to customers.

With MTNL’s 319 plan, users enjoy unlimited calling within MTNL’s network, and 25 minutes of free call to other networks in a single day.

“On its 31st anniversary, MTNL announces new plan from April 1, 2017 that offers 2 GB of 3G data per day and unlimited calling within MTNL network for Rs 319 for Delhi and Mumbai mobile customers,” the company said in a statement.

The plan will be effective from April 1, and will remain valid for 28 days.

“This promotional offer is valid for 90 days. MTNL customers will also get 25 minutes of free call to other networks every day and after that they will be charged 25 paise for a minute phone call,” the statement said.

In the past one month, almost all telecom operators have rolled out new plans to counter Reliance Jio, who free offer is ending March 31, 2017.

Jio’s lowest value plan is offering unlimited calling and 1GB of 4G data everyday for Rs 303 a month. BSNL has also introduced Rs 339 plan, which offers 2 GB of data everyday and call benefits. The plan has a validity of 28 days.  Idea and Airtel have introduced similar plans for customers.

MTNL is a state-owned telecommunications service provider in the metro cities of Mumbai and New Delhi. The company also provides services in Mauritius in Africa. BSNL was founded in October 2000, and is headquartered in New Delhi. BSNL is an Indian state-owned telecommunications company which offers fixed line and mobile telephony, Internet, and digital television services to its customers. Prior to creation of BSNL, telecom services in India were being provided by Central Government Departments of Telecom Services (DTS) and Telecom Operations (DTO).
