Donald Trump Considering Putting Pakistan in Immigration Ban List

American President Donald Trump in considering to include Pakistan in the immigration ban list.  After imposing a ban on entry of refugees, migrants and green-card holders from seven Muslim-dominated nations, the Trump Administration is now thinking to include Pakistan in the same immigration ban list, as indicated by White House Chief of Staff Reince Preibus. Seven nations already in this list include Syria, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Yemen, and Libya.

Reince Priebus accepted publically for the first time that Trump administration is considering about including Pakistan in the immigration ban list. Priebus told CBS News that seven Muslim-dominated countries were identified by American Congress and Obama Administration as the most dangerous countries giving shelter to terrorists. Now, a need may arise to consider imposing a ban on people from countries like Pakistan that also give shelter to terrorists.

“The seven countries included in the ban list were identified by both the Congress and Obama administration as the most nations with dangerous terrorism taking place in their country,” Priebus said.

“Now the countries with the same problems, like Pakistan and others, would be considered. But we need to consider it further. But as of now, pulling the band-aid off, is to do further vetting for people travelling in and out of those countries.”

For now, travellers from Pakistan and Afghanistan are subject to extreme vetting in the US before they are being allowed to enter the country.

“These countries nurture and train terrorists. These are the countries that we want to know who is coming and going in and out of, to prevent calamities from happening in this country,” he said.

“We are not willing to be wrong on this subject. President Trump is not willing to take chances on this subject. He was elected president in many respects because people knew that he was going to be tough on immigration from countries that harbor terrorists,” the White House Chief of Staff added.

A large number of people around the world have criticized the decision of Donald Trump. Many governments also criticized the Trump’s order. Seeing the reaction of people, Donald Trump has clarified that this ban in not against all Muslims in the world.

On Sunday, thousands of people demonstrated against Donald Trump at different airports in the US. People started gathering near airports as the news spread about the immigration ban.
