Asus Launches ZenFone Go 4.5 LTE (ZB450KL) in India

Asus has launched its ZenFone Go (ZB450KL) smartphone in India. Also known as the ZenFone Go 4.5 LTE, the phone is available in a Glamour Red matte color finish, as well as in Gold, Silver Blue, and Silver ‘metallic hairline’ finish. Priced at Rs. 6,999, the phone is now available at online stores.

Asus ZenFone Go 4.5 LTE runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by a 64-bit 1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 SoC. It sports a 1 GB of LPDDR3 RAM, an Adreno 306 GPU, and 8 GB of inbuilt storage. The dual-SIM (Micro + Nano) phone features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display, an 8-MP rear camera with an LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. It comes with ‘PixelMaster’ technology and offers features like low-light mode, zero shutter lag, backlight HDR mode, and beautification modes. The front facing 2-MP camera also offers some PixelMaster tech.

Asus is offering 100 GB Google Drive cloud storage subscription for two years with the phone.

Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, and FM radio. Other main features include ambient light sensor, accelerometer, a proximity sensor, and a digital compass.

In May this year, Asus had unveiled three models of the ZenFone 3 series – ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, and ZenFone 3 Ultra – in Taipei. All these variants sport a metal design, 8-megapixel selfie camera, and hybrid dual-SIM slots.

The base model Asus ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL) is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor, and boasts a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) Super IPS LCD display. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the phone from the front and back. The phone also features 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB inbuilt storage (4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage is also available). The phone is available in Gold, Blue, Black, and White color options. The rear 16-megapixel camera comes with Sony IMX298 sensor. Other features of this phone include a 3000mAh battery, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, Cat 6 LTE, and USB 2.0 Type-C connector.

Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe model (ZS570KL) features a 5.7-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) Super Amoled display, and a full metal body with an invisible antenna design. The phone also boasts Snapdragon 820 SoC, 6 GB RAM, 64 GB inbuilt storage. A microSD card offers storage expansion up to 256 GB. The 23-megapixel rear camera comes with Sony IMX318 sensor offering 4K video support. Other features include 3000 mAh battery, connectivity options like WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, Cat 6 LTE, and USB 3.0 Type-C connector.

The large Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra (ZU680KL) features a Snapdragon 625 SoC with 4 GB of RAM, inbuilt storage of 64 GB (expandable up to 126 GB via microSD card. The phone sports a 6.8-inch full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD display. The 23-megapixel rear camera is equipped with Sony IMX318 sensor. Other features of the phone include a 4600mAh battery with Quick Charge technology, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, Cat 6 LTE, and USB 3.0 Type-C connector.
