HTC Launches HTC Desire 650 with 13-Megapixel Rear Camera

HTC has launched its latest HTC Desire 650 smartphone with 13 megapixel rear camera in Taiwan. The new phone is powered by quad-core Snapdragon processor and features a 5-inch display.

According to Focus Taiwan, the HTC Desire 650 is priced at TWD 5,490 (about US$ 180), and will hit the market in early December.

The double back of the HTC Desire 650’s provides the phone a half plain rubber rear back and sculptured design on other half, and according to HTC, this “double back” will offer better grip to users.

The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) TFT LCD display. It sports a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 16GB inbuilt storage, and 2GB RAM. The storage can be expanded via microSD card up to 2 TB.

The phone features a 3-megapixel autofocus rear camera. It also offers LED flash, BSI sensor, and f/2.2 aperture. The front-facing 5-megapixel camera comes with f/1.8 aperture, BSI sensor, and auto-self timer.

HTC claims that the 2200mAh battery of Desire 650 is able to provide 17 hours of talk time and 672 hours of standby time. The device supports LTE Cat. 4 offering download speeds of up to 150Mbps.
