Rayman Origins to be the Next Free Game on August 17

Ubisoft has announced to make Rayman Origins the next free game for PC on August 17. The game will be available on the official Club Ubisoft site as part of 30th anniversary festivities of the company.

The year 2016 marks the 30th year of Ubisoft as video games developer, and to celebrate the occasion, the Ubisoft is offering a new free game to those who use its digital service, Uplay.  Previous free titles from Ubisoft included Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.

The new announcement also means that people are now running out of time to download Splinter Cell for free as the new game will replace Splinter Cell as the free Uplay game from August 17.

Released in 2011 across numerous consoles, Rayman Origins is credited for reviving the Rayman franchise.  It was one of the best platformers, with a great style that still looks fantastic today. Rayman Origins has a ranking of 88 percent or higher among nearly all the consoles. People always praised its graphical style, animations, and gameplay. The game also debuted the striking UbiArt engine. According to Ubisoft, Rayman Origins was “profitable,” although it never called it a rip-roaring sales success.

Now, you have the opportunity to nab Rayman Origins and play for free. You just need to sign up for Uplay and start downloading the free game.
